Philips promises an end to muffled or cracking sound with its new CD645 and CD445 DECT phones, both featuring HD Sound technology.

The phones use a high-quality speaker and an internal acoustic chamber, expanding the audio spectrum delivered in comparison to regular DECT and landline phones. Other features include a docking station with digital answer machine, which offers between 15 and 30 minutes of message saving as well as charging, hands-free functionality, SMS function (CD645 only), an extensive phone book, polyphonic ringtones and a battery life of up to 12 hours talk time.

The CD645 and CD445 are available now for around £60 and £50 respectively.
