Logitech wants to get into your bedroom with its newly-launched Pure-Fi Dream for iPod.

Essentially, this is a compact sound system for your iPod, using 3/4-inch high-definition, soft-dome tweeters and a 3-inch high-power, long-throw woofer for output. It’s also motion-sensing, with the backlit controls lighting up when a hand is near the unit, automatically dimming when you have finished playing with it. And it adjusts the display according to the light in the room too.

Other features include an AM/FM radio, dual alarm function with snooze that also uses motion-sensing, one-button access to iPod playlists and radio stations, with 24 presets in total and a remote control. Available in piano black, this should be available in October, priced at £169.99.
