atlus-arm-spirit.jpgWho says games are too easy these days? Atlus Japan has recalled its latest coin-op “Arm Spirit” after reports that the thing has broken the arms of three separate gamers.

“We think that maybe some players get overexcited and twist their arms in an unnatural way,” said Atlus spokeswoman Ayano Sakiyama of the incidents, adding, amusingly, that the machine is actually so weak that “even women should be able to beat it.”

Atlus has so far distributed 150 of these DEATH TRAPS to various Japanese arcades, all of which are now being recalled just in case any more unfortunate teenagers lose the use of their hands for six to eight weeks.
