HANNspree XV LCD range boots the gimmicks in favour of HDMI

HANNspree has long been known for its quirky sets – but it has sacrificed that in its new XV LCD range for more practical considerations – like HDMI for example.

There are two sets in the range – 32-inch and 37-inch – both featuring an 8ms response time and a wide viewing angle of 176º. But they don’t pack digital receivers – and don’t seem to be HD-ready, despite the inclusion of two HDMI sockets alongside the two Scart.

So a bit of a mixed bag, but not too expensive, with the 32-inch retailing for £359 and the 37-inch selling for £499.
