Kingston launches portable USB microSD Reader

Chances are that you have a microSD slot on your mobile phone – but not necessarily in other devices and computers. That’s something Kingston is addressing with the USB microSD Reader.

Available as card bundles (with a choice of 1GB or 2GB cards), the Reader makes it easy to transfer data between multiple mobile phones, PCs and digital devices on the move, eliminating the need to carry additional USB cables and reducing the ‘wait times’ typically associated with Bluetooth transfers between mobile phones and PCs. When in use, the USB microSD Reader appears as a separate drive letter (for example E:) and data transfer is as easy as drag and drop.

Prices are £8.20 for the 1GB version and £15.75 for 2GB. Both prices exclude VAT.
