iRiver is sticking everything bar the kitchen sink into its personal media players nowadays, and its new W10 PMP is no exception. There’s not much information on its specs, other than the fact that it supports VoIP and a location-based Wi-Fi technology called WPS.

VoIP in a personal media player? It’s an exciting thought, although more exciting if it were, say, Skype, rather than making you sign up to a completely new service that only lets you call other W10 owners. Meanwhile, WPS is like GPS, but involves tracking the device’s location via Wi-Fi.

Stand by for more details when iRiver announce them, and indeed a prospective launch date (if any) here in Europe.
