Satellite Navigation systems

Well, the AA has GPS on the market, so it’s no surprise to see a range of sat nav systems from the RAC.

There’s three systems available, all claiming to be user-friendly, with maps from Route 66, full postcode search, pre-loaded safety camera locations with free updates, the usual points of interest and what’s described as a “Fuzzy Search” facility to help you find a place from a vague search term.

The entry-level 200 model has all of that plus a 3.5-inch touch screen, retailing for £139.99. The 210 model boosts the screen to 4-inch and adds an MP3 player for the £189.99 price point. And top of the pile is the 220, with its 5-inch touch screen, Bluetooth functionality, MP3 player, traffic information and extended European mapping. It’s available for £299.99.
