Reciva might not be a name you know, but it’s the company behind a number of consumer internet radios from the likes of Bush, Alba, BT, DSGI Group, Morphy Richards, Grundig, Acoustic Energy and MagicBox. And if you have one, you could get a lot more listening choice after the company announced a deal with RealNetworks that enables listeners to access RealMusic through Reciva Internet radio devices or the Reciva website.

However, you will have to subscribe. If you do, you get access to more than 450 CD-quality, ad-free radio stations, plus a number of genre-based stations and exclusive content from the likes of Ministry of Sound and Carl Cox.

According to Giles Hutchison, Reciva CEO: “This agreement demonstrates the
ability of Reciva enabled radios to integrate simply with subscription
based media services, providing Reciva users with what they want, when
they want to listen to it. We welcome RealNetworks as a partner in
offering Reciva enabled radio users the very best music available over
the Internet along with other great content.”
