Kyocera Bluetooth Music Gateway – Bluetooth your stereo

Fancy converting your stereo for some Bluetooth streaming? You can with the Kyocera Bluetooth Music Gateway.

It’s a small adaptor that connects your music phone to your home audio system. That might sound like a niche concept, but with more phones featuring A2DP technology – including popular models like the Sony Ericsson W950i – it’s quite useful being able to transfer your music collection wirelessly to a larger system.

It just plugs into your Hi-Fi using the auxiliary phono sockets on the rear. Just pair it up with your phone and your music is free to blast out. And if you’re not the owner of an A2DP handset, there will also be a Bluetooth adaptor with 2.5mm and 3.5mm jack plugs so you can use the system with non-A2DP compatible phones and MP3 players.

No UK release date as yet, but it should be on sale in the US this month for the equivalent of £40.
