Is the P3300 the biggest technological advancement of the last 12 months? Well, according to the judging panel at the 2007 Mobile News Awards, it is.

We featured the P3300 in September last year, when it was launched with a batch of other HTC devices with little fanfare. It was HTC’s first dedicated navigation PDA with built-in GPS, using TomTom software, which could be viewed on an optimised 2.8-inch colour screen. It also features the usual PDA features, a camera and Windows Media Player for entertainment.

In presenting the award, Mobile News judges commented, “The HTC P3300 is a wonderful tool kit of a phone: Windows Mobile and SatNav in compact form. HTC are the company to watch this year.”
