There are several mobile applications for the Twitter micro-blogging service already, and Twitlet is the latest. It’s a simple, clean app that lets you post tweets on the go, as well as check what your friends have been up to.
Elsewhere in the world of Twitter, the firm behind it – Obvious – has announced plans to spin Twitter off as a separate company. Meanwhile, there’s a debate over whether Twitter and rival micro-blogging services could be killed off by social networking sites like Facebook, whose Status Update feature performs a similar function.
