T-Mobile has launched the MDA Mail device in the UK, a slimline gadget with a QWERTY keyboard for easy email access and web browsing.

The device is compatible with T-Mobile’s Web ‘N’ Walk service, so that means flat-rate web access for £7.50 per month. And as the name suggests, it’s very much pitched at those who don’t want to leave their email at home, with support for both Microsoft Direct Push and BlackBerry Connect for real-time email access.

The MDA Mail features the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, so you can also access and edit Office-based applications too. There’s also a 1.3 megapixel camera, music and video via Windows Media Player, stereo Bluetooth and the option of using the device for satellite navigation if you sign up for CoPilot 6.

The MDA Mail is available now, priced from free dependent on your contract.
