Bored of DAB already? You could give DRM a spin, which picks up a range of stations from stations across Europe, all in digital quality – and can be found in the Morphy Richards DRM radio.

But don’t worry – you’ll not be forced to listen to 80s rock from Germany, it still features DAB radio, along with traditional FM. But what you get extra is that DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale), which digitises Long Wave, Medium Wave and Short Wave frequencies to near FM-quality reception, wherever you are.

You can also playback MP3 files via SD cards, record your favourite shows onto SD and use it as a radio alarm. Available now, you can pick one up for around £150.
