Lily Allen joins The Sims – and sings 'Smile' in Simlish

lily-sims.jpgLily Allen sang about pimps and crack whores in her ‘LDN’ song, but you won’t find many of them in EA’s The Sims games. Although it would make a corking expansion pack, if they’re stuck for ideas.

Anyway, this hasn’t stopped Lily teaming up with EA, recording a version of her hit ‘Smile’ in Simlish, the language spoken within The Sims. Click on the button below to watch the video for it.

It’s for the soundtrack of The Sims 2: Seasons, a new add-on for the game, and is marginally less geeky than re-recording a song in Klingon. But only just.

Still, it’s further proof of Lil’s techy credentials, following her MSN theme pack which came out last year. What’s next: Skype ringtones? A branded Second Life zone? Her own beat’em up game where she disembowels Peaches Geldof using just a stiletto? We’ll have to wait and see…
