Kensington has announced a new mouse range, designed specifically for the desk-based worker – the Ci60 Optical Mouse, the Ci60 Wireless Optical Mouse and the Si300 Laser Mouse.

“Over the years, mouse design has become more in tune with users’ needs,” says Phil O’Neill, vice-president for Europe at Kensington. “Kensington is keen to ensure that all professionals benefit from new technology, no matter where they chose to work. The new range takes into consideration the fact that the user will be working for long periods of time at their computer. For the desktop worker, the mice are fully featured, more substantial and have rubberised grips for comfort.”

The Ci20 Optical Mouse (£14.99) uses DiamondEye optical technology to improve control. It has five programmable buttons that can be customised to prioritise important tasks such as launching applications or navigating websites. The Ci60 Wireless Optical Mouse (£19.99) uses QuickRF wireless technology and like the Ci20, uses DiamondEye optical cursor tracking.

Finally, the Si300 Laser Mouse (£24.99) uses advanced laser tracking with 20 times the surface sensitivity of optical technology. It’s designed for both left- and right-handed users, and also features a four-way tilt scroll wheel for ease-of-use.
