From the outside, the Netac A200 might look like any other budget-priced MP3 player on the market. But inside lurks an unusual component – a built-in FM transmitter.

The A200 has everything you would expect from a typical portable player – music playback for MP3/WMA files, video playback on the 1.8-inch 260k colour OLED display, picture browsing (JPEG/BMP), along with an FM tuner and recorder and a voice recorder, plus 2GB of storage and a rechargeable battery.

But here’s that little extra – the FM transmitter. The company claims “almost CD quality wireless sound transfer” to your car stereo or home hi-fi and with up to 21 frequencies available for selection, you shouldn’t have a problem finding a free one.

Not the most refined player around, but if you just want to throw a large number of music files onto a player for use in the car – the A200 is decent value at £69.
