Go square-eyed with a pair of Rimax Virtual Vision Glasses 4.0

virtualvision.jpgWant a 40-inch telly for 200 quid? No, we didn’t nick it, how dare you…

The Rimax Virtual Vision Glasses 4.0 plug into your laptop, media player or games console, and claim to give you the equivalent of a 40-inch screen. They work using a mini-LCD display, which has been engineered to give the impression of a big TV two metres away.

Powered by a rechargeable Lithium battery that gives up to eight hours’ viewing, they can be worn over normal glasses, and come with stereo headphones built in. Something tells me the plasma telly manufacturers aren’t running scared just yet, but if you don’t mind looking like an old-skool Virtual Reality nut, they’re just the thing.
