Remember the ultra-small Shuttle X100 media PC from last year? Well, it’s been improved for 2007 as the Shuttle X200 – and it’s just as small.

The Viiv PC will occupy the same space as a piece of A4 paper, albeit with a little more height – 5cm. The Intel 945GM-based motherboard can hold a Core 2 Duo CPU and up to 2GB of DDR 2 SDRAM. There’s also Intel’s integrated GMA950 graphics chip, 7.1-channel HD audio, a digital and analogue TV tuner, FM tuner and a remote control.

There’s also integrated 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, 5x USB 2.0 ports and a multi-format card reader, but no Firewire or s-video (which were present on the X100). However, it does have PS/2 mouse and keyboard connectors and a DVI connector for the display.

No news on a shelf date or price. We’ll keep you posted.
