iRecord – record TV to your iPod with a push of a button

Last week we featured the One-Touch Any-Media iPod Uploader – a device for converting clips to an iPod-friendly format without the need for a PC. If you didn’t fancy sending off to the US for that, a similar device is on sale in the UK – the iRecord.

It works very much with the same simplicity, opening up the last night’s TV or your old video collection for viewing on your iPod video, PSP or similar portable media player. Plug in your player, connect the unit to your TV and press ‘record’. Your choice of show will then transfer to your iPod for viewing on the go.

All the cables you need are included and with just a ‘record’ and ‘power’ button to use, you’ll have it mastered in seconds. The only downside is the price – £160 – which is almost double the price of last week’s similar US gadget.

  • MUWAHAHA I got mine in 3 days from Streming Networks… this thing is off the hook

  • Just got off the phone with the folks at iRecord, they have stock available to ship.

  • Buy something else if you’re in a hurry. Streaming Networks can’t deliver iRecord’s right now. We paid for ours a month ago and still haven’t received any, plus as expected they’re non-responsive when it comes to trying to get any update info.
