Do you have a bunch of bombs lying around that you’re not sure how to dispose of? How about hazardous debris or big spikes that you need transported? Or are you just too lazy to move it yourself? The Chaos Robot is for you. Designed to move silently over unstable ground, it is also intended for search and rescue, recon, or simply to do dull and dirty tasks that humans don’t want to. It moves on several rubberized track treads, like a bulldozer that’s been cut off above the knees. Entirely modular so that any broken piece can be replaced in the field, it’s also possible to graft on additional tools or sensors (such as sniffers for gas leaks, for example). [GT]
