Good news for anyone that does business with a Palm Treo device – mobile TV is coming to the device, courtesy of SlingBox.

SlingPlayer Mobile for Palm OS, currently being demonstrated at the CES, will make it possible to watch television on models running Palm OS including the Treo 750 and recently-announced Treo 680. It’s a software client that gives Slingbox customers the ability to watch and control their home TV and add-on kit, including digital video records, on the move. SlingBox is already available to use with devices running Windows Mobile.

SlingPlayer Mobile for Palm OS is expected to be available sometime in the first quarter of 2007 as a public beta download from Sling Media’s website. Pricing has not been finalised as yet.
