kodak%20V1003.jpgWe mentioned the Kodak digital picture frames earlier, but that isn’t all the US maker has up its CES sleeve. It is also debuting a pair of low-end digital cameras – the Easyshare V803 and Easyshare V1003.

Both are compact models and, according to the company blurb, both are targeted ostensibly at women. They also work with Kodak’s online Image gallery, which once you’ve paid a small fee, stores all your images which might be kind of handy if your hard disk crashes.

On to the snappers then. The V1003 is the higher-end of the two. It has a fairly standard rectangular design, comes in a variety of colours and takes ten mega pixel images. Other features include a 2.5inch LCD, 3x optical zoom and 32MB of storage. It will retail for $249 which means it should duck in at well under £200 in the UK.

The V803 is virtually identical save for the fact it takes eight mega pixel images and retails for $199 or around £150 in UK speak. There’s no definite news on UK availability yet.
