Sony PS3 video special: A quick nose around the PlayStation Store

The online PlayStation Store is clearly central to Sony’s ambitions for PS3, and not just so you can download old PSone games to play on your PSP either.

Sony’s Phil Harrison talked a fair bit about the potential for offering free demos and Blu-ray trailers through the Store, and also about micro-content, such as the SingStore selling individual tracks for karaoke game SingStar, and more generally, the PlayStation Store allowing publishers to move away from the £50-for-a-single-game model that’s dominated the console biz until now.

Watch the video below for a quick 30-second nose around the store, showing the available demos, and how it all fits together.
