USRobotics launches USR809640 USR Mini Cam for Skype
USRobotics has a new webcam on the market early next year – the USR809640 USR Mini Cam – aimed specifically at Skype users.
Optimised for Skype, the USR Mini Cam features true 1.3 megapixel capture capability and full motion video at up to 30 frames per second. The camera automatically adjusts to low-light conditions, and includes image options such as brightness, saturation, contrast, and horizontal and vertical reversing, along with face-tracking auto-focus, digital zoom and a full 70-degree viewing angle.
It can be positioned on a laptop or desktop, can clip to a flat screen monitor or just stand on a table top. There also an included Hi-Fi headset, tuned for a richer bass and crisper treble. Expect it in the UK in January, price details yet to be announced.
