USRobotics launches USR019630 Cordless Phone for Skype
Another wire-free handset for Skype – this time from USRobotics, which is now offering the USR019630 Cordless Phone in the UK, allowing you to make both Skype and traditional phone calls from the same handset. And with the USR019630 base station (and one eye on small businesses), you can add up to three additional USR019631 handsets to the same telephone line.
The USR019630 uses DECT 6.0, which shouldn’t interfere with your wireless or Bluetooth communications. It also has a 150ft (indoor) and 900ft (outdoor) range, an integrated speakerphone for handsfree, backlit LCD display for accessing Skype contacts and phonebook entries, out of range tone, support for Skype caller ID and it’s plug and play, as long as you use Windows 2000 or XP.
Available this month, the USR019630 retails for £79.99, with additional handsets available in November for £39.99.
