Ministry of Sound has launched a pocket-sized solution for your music on the go – the MOSMP075 MP3 player, which also packs in both FM and DAB radio.

Two sizes available – 512MB or 1GB. FM and DAB means you’re covered when you go out of DAB range (yes, there are still places without reception) and if you like what you’re hearing on one of the many DAB stations out there, you can record the radio directly onto the unit’s internal memory. It also features in-ear stereo earphones, an internal rechargeable battery and a limited edition album pre-loaded (I’m guessing that’s a Ministry of Sound one).

Available now, you can pick up the 512MB model for £119.99 and the 1GB version for £179.99.

  • Bought a Ministry of Sound MOSMP075 MP3/DAB Player recently from Argos. Liked the look, the price, the functionality. Unfortunately the player is not recognised by Windows XP – despite what it says on the box and what the MOS Help Desk tell you. Returned it to Argos, who kindly replaced it – same problem. Returned again to Argos – full refund, no problem there. This product needs a driver to run with Windows XP – believe me and save yourself loads of time – I couldn’t find one anywhere on the Net and the helpdesk are in denial!
