Get yourself a stone-age Flintstones car

Well, it looks like a stone-age car, anyway. It was actually made for the Flinstones Viva Rock Vegas movie, costing around $50,000. The car’s been hand-carved out of foam to look like wood, before being slapped in resin and hand-painted. And no, you don’t have to poke your feet through the bottom to make it go – it has an electric motor. Also today on Bayraider: Adrien Brody’s monster costume from The Village, and a copy of Prince’s glossy wedding programme from 1996. It was a sign of the times, I believe.
