Last week, we mentioned new research claiming 85% of people in the UK receive spam email every day. If you are one of them, you might be interested in the Spam Cube, which is launching in the UK through Amazon in the run-up to Christmas.

The Spam Cube is anti-spam hardware, 11.5 x 11.5cm in size and designed to sit between your broadband modem and PC, scanning incoming email for unwanted and fraudulent messages. It works with POP3 email accounts and can cover up to four networked computers on any platform.

It should sell for £99 in the UK, including automatic updates. An additional premium subscription service, Security OnDemand, which adds anti-virus and anti-phishing, could also be offered, but so far, there’s no form details on this.
