Manchester United gets a revamped website

Manchester United, one of the biggest football clubs on the planet, has been given an online makeover and now sports Flash and 3D Max technology which Mark Hargreaves said would represent the club, partners and sponsors on an international level. He says that the website will serve as a first port of call for fans and that the site is easy to use and consistent.

The site certainly looks good and well integrated (though of course it’s not a site I’d spend a huge amount of time on as I’m not particularly partial to red football clubs) and has loads of information about the players and fixtures, plus lots of other features.

The only thing that one could argue is missing from a site that’s seeking to be totally international (given Man U’s fan base) is a few language translation tools (even if automated ones).

What do you reckon? (Non Man U fans needn’t force themselves to view it)
