New Web Album Functionality for Picasa

If you are already using Google’s excellent Picasa image viewing and editing software and you have a Gmail account you might be interested in a new feature called Web Albums. This lets you upload post and share your images on the web with just a couple of clicks. It comes with free web storage space for around 1000 images, with the option to add more capacity, for a modest fee. Picasa Web Albums is now Beta testing and looking for volunteers, though get your skates on, it’s by invitation only and the number of available signups is limited.
