PlayStation 3 one step closer to launch

Sony have announced a mid-November launch date for the PS3 in Japan and Europe. The first firm date we’ve seen, November 11th, has been set for the Japanese launch with Europe ‘less than a week later’.
Price is set to be from $499 for the base configuration. That’ll be something like €499 too, depending on exchange rates, luck, the weather etc.
