Packard Bell's Store & Play – take your music and movies with you

Aimed at those on the move, who want to take their favourite music and movies with them, Packard Bell’s Store & Play is a storage device that’s simple to use and solid enough to withstand the knocks of the outside world.

Essentially, it’s a glorified portable hard drive – a 50GB hard drive to be precise, which can hold up to 3,000 MP3 files, 14 MPEG movies or 10,000 digital photos. Uploading your data is simple, a one-button transfer using a high-speed 2.0 USB port. Alternatively, you can transfer your files using the integrated 4-in-1 card reader which is included.

Once you’ve loaded everything on, you can enjoy them out and about – if you’ve got a screen available. A remote control helps you navigate through the contents of the device.

The Store & Play will sell for around £90 and should be in stores from June 2006
