Averatec unveils Blackline notebook PC

Averatec has unveiled its new sub-£1,000 Blackline notebook, also known as the Averatec 4360, with ‘piano black’ cover, silver interior and black keyboard and powered by the Intel Core Duo Processor.

The 4360 is 31.6 x 22.4 x 3.2cm in size and weighs just 2kg. The 1.66 GHz Intel Core Duo-Processor is backed up with 1GB memory and features a 13.3-inch WXGA AveraBrite TFT screen, 80GB drive, dual DVD drive, wireless LAN, Firewire, S-Video, VGA-Port, audio and microphone input and output, 3x USB 2.0 ports and a 4:1 card reader.

Software includes Star Office, Paragon Exact Image, Norton Internet Security as well as Marco Polo Euro Route GPS Edition. Battery life is around 3 hours.

It’s available this month for around £949.
