The third model unveiled by Nokia at the Open Studio in Berlin, the N72 shifts the emphasis firmly to fashion, with both the looks and functionality that are likely to appeal to a younger market.

The Nokia N72 features a 2 megapixel camera, along with 2.1-inch 262k colour display and an integrated digital music player. The handset also features dedicated capture and music keys as well as an FM radio and support for Visual Radio.

There’s just 20MB internal memory, but you can boost it with RS-MMC expansion. Like the other models announced today, the N72 also offers direct image uploading to Flickr, if you want to share your photos and there’s bluetooth connectivity too.

Available in both gloss black and pearl pink, the N72 looks like being the first of the new N-series models to market, with Nokia saying it should be available around June. No operator details as yet – we’ll keep you posted.
