Rather than chatting to your mates about nothing in particular on MSN Messenger, you could be making the Prime Minister squirm from the comfort of your own home.

Yes, Tony Blair is putting himself up for questioning via video from 10 lucky voters on Tuesday 4th April. Sadly, it all sounds a little staged – questions are "encouraged" about Africa and climate change. If you want to ask questions about party finances and the state of your local school/hospital/housing, I’m guessing you’ll find yourself at the back of the queue.

It’s not the first time that the self-confessed "technophobe" has done some virtual debating. Previously, he did use a chat room to field questions ranging from Iraq to his favourite guitar solo.
