CES 2006: Next gen Plantronics wireless phones soon

There has been loads of talk at CES already about A2DP the latest version of Bluetooth. This new system enables music phones to work properly with Bluetooth headsets so that they not only playback a stereo signal but they also cut out when the phone rings and also enable users to press buttons on the earpiece to fast forward between tracks. Yesterday Logitech announced that its new headsets would be A2DP compatible, today Plantronics has said that it working on an A2DP set which is likely to arrive in the summer. There’s no huge rush as there are very few A2DP mobiles around at the moment.
