CES 2006: Google PC rumours

So you are bit gutted that certain news sources have said you won’t be seeing a $200 Google PC. Well I wouldn’t be too downhearted just yet. CES is buzzing with rumours about the content of the keynote speech Google CEO Larry Page will deliver at 4pm (midnight to you).

The company blurb says it has an ‘innovation that will spark the future of consumer electronics.’ Also we hear through the journo grapevine that there is a special briefing for a very select crew with Mr Page after the keynote. Let’s just say that the invitation list is very short indeed. Would the company be that guarded if all that was on the table was a deal to offer Google searches via Motorola phones? Well we’ll know soon enough.
