Philips is hoping to take Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) one step further with the announcement of a new cordless DECT Video phone. Called the VP5500 the Philips cordless video phone will initially launch in the Netherlands as part of a package from Dutch telecommunications company KPN.
