Apple’s next venture in the UK is a new store is located in Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre on the third floor, which is set to open at 6pm on Friday, the 29th of April. Mac geeks might notice that this conveniently coincides with the release of the new Mac OS 10.4, dubbed Tiger.

In case the appeal of looking at a lot of expensive (but nice-looking
if you live in a very white house) Apple gear doesn’t excite you
enough, the store is offering a “Digital Lifestyle Collection”
prize draw. If you’re really, really lucky you can expect to scoop an
iMac with a twenty inch screen and a bunch of peripherals worth £2,145.

If the opening is anything like the London store a few months ago, expect a sizeable queue.
