Sony NW-HD3 with MP3 support
What was that we were saying about not getting the Sony NW-HD2? Bah, who cares about that when we’ve got the NW-HD3 winging its way over to the UK. Sony has announced plans for the upgraded Sony Walkman player, which will now include native support for MP3s, so that the music files can now be transferred directly to the player without being converted.
The Network Walkman will also be available in four fetching colours – silver, red, pink and black (not the blue one though, sadly) and the players will be available almost immediately. You may recall Sony’s U-Turn regarding MP3 support a few months back, and now the company has also announced that a firmware upgrade for the VAIO Pocket will be available to enable MP3 support. A number of other minor corrections and updates will be part of the upgrade, including the removal of pauses between tracks and a faster scrolling option for the user interface.

i want the mp3 converter! it really puts this good sleek product down. i like the usb mp3 plays!! copy paste, why cant sony make our lives that easy!! 🙁 when is this update coming out!! sonic stage is really anoying me now!
