We are huge fans of the O2 XDA 2 – in our book the best connected PDA out there. However the one problem with it is that to get the best out of it you have to sign up with O2.

Well now Orange had done the decent thing and taken the XDA 2 rechristened it the SPV M100 and launched it at its corporate market.

Features-wise the two are very similar in running microsoft’s Windows Mobile 2003 edition for Pocket PC with all its apps like Outlook and Internet Explorer. Also on board are Bluetooth and a VGA camera.

The key differences are the Orange flavouring namely Orange Update and Back Up which stores all you key contacts online – handy should you ever lose the phone. There’s also access to the Orange wap portal and various e-mail solutions aimed at corporate users.

It costs £375. More here.
