How big do you need the hard drive on your MP3 player to be? We are personally fairly happy with the 4Gig on our Apple iPod mini, but for anoraks everywhere the 80Gig personal jukebox is on its way.

Capable of storing over 2000 hours of music the Xclef 500 is compatible with both MP3 and WMA files, features an internal mîcrophone and voice recorder and an FM radio.

Not surprisingly given its huge storage the Xclef 500 uses a 2.5inch disk drive, which is significantly larger than the 1.8 drive on the iPod. Battery life is rated at 20 hours. Expect it in early summer in the UK from www.advancedMP3 players.co.uk
