t-mobile-pink-logo.jpgT-Mobile has announced the addition of Bebo to their mobile social-networking service My Social Sites.

The service allows users to check their messages and post comments and images through a mobile application that amalgamates a number of the sites and charges you 5p each time you upload.

The addition of Bebo is a considerable coup for T-Mobile and doubtless a serious string to the bow of the UK’s second most visited social network. Bebo joins Xanga, LiveJournal, BlackPlanet, Vox, Rabble and online photo website builder Piczo which was also added today.

The 5p charge is naturally no cheaper than the cost of a normal text else T-Mobile’s own SMS revenue would soon disappear and we all know how important that is to mobile operators.

My Social Sites is starting to look like a reasonable deal for the casual user, who’s mobile browsing needs end there, but mind those fingers or you may get burned.

  • This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. Thanks.
