As suspected yesterday, Sidekick has formally introduced the Tony Hawk LX to all the Vans shoes-bedeckled Lagwagon fans hungry for a video-tastic semi-smartphone.

By way of T-Mobile, we now know that the LX will have a ‘grip tape-like’ texture on the back, plus eight screws, resembling a skateboard. It will ship with exclusive videos of Hawk skateboarding, plus various wallpapers and sounds. Boy Genius Report has got the scoop on Sidekick’s collaboration with skating legend Tony Hawk for the LX handset, which is supposedly going to be confirmed tomorrow by the company, to the glee of all baggy-trousered men.
