Wii creator Shigeru Miyamoto honoured with top place in Time Magazine's Top 100

Voters who participated in Time Magazine’s recent ‘100 Most Influential People of 2008’ list obviously felt the same way as I did, with Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto crowned the year’s most influential.

Following him at number two and three are Rain and Stephen Colbert (you can view Colbert’s dance-off with the Korean popstar here), with the next notable technology luminaries being Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales at 18, ‘The Google Guys’ at number 20, and Microsoft’s Bill Gates in at 27th spot…
