The iPhone 3G may’ve lacked a video-conferencing feature so desperately craved by users, however this week both Qik and Flixwagon have announced they’re bringing their mobile video streaming service to the iPhone. You may be wondering how that’s possible with the iPhone lacking in, err, video capabilities, however both companies have worked around that obvious flaw by the sounds of things.

Flixwagon has developed software for jailbroken iPhones allowing for video to be streamed to the Flixwagon site live, or post-stream as it even stores footage for you. The news will only appeal to those who’ve actually hacked their iPhones of course, although the company claims they’re working on a legal version that’ll launch in the App store at a later date…
