Line6 have added to their POD range with the Floor POD Plus, which they say unites the timeless sounds of the POD 2.0 with a greatly expanded set of premium effects.

The road-ready package has 32 amp models, 16 classic cabs, 16 modulation effects, 6 delay modes, and 2 different types of reverb, all of which can be tweaked to hone that unique performance sound.

It's an integrated hardware and software DJ performance system. It allows you to cue, beat-match and mix digital audio files using full-size, professional-grade controllers. All hardware controls are pre-mapped to the Torq software.

Behringer B-Control DJ BCD3000Behringer haver unveiled their B-Control DJ BCD3000 software controller, based upon their award-winning predecessor, the BCD2000, but with enhanced controls and greater compatibility.

The controller allows musicians / DJs to play, mix and scratch MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG, WV and AIFF files with vinyl feeling. It comes with Native Instruments' Traktor 3 LE DJ software allowing for importing from iTunes.

NAMM 2007: ChordGenie intelligent chord finder for guitarists

It features over 15,000 chords, and offers a much faster way to finding chords than using a book. Chords can be found in standard or alternate tuning, in any position on the fret board. The display shows each chord and its fingering. Slash and power chords are also included. It can be customised for both left and right-handed players, and for the guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and tenor guitar.

NAMM 2007: Native Instruments introduce Audio 8 DJ equipment

Native Instruments has unveiled their Audio 8 DJ audio interface that's been designed for the professional DJ to use with the Traktor 8 DJing software, though it will also work with other DJ software.

Powered from the USB bus, it features an 8-in/8-out audio configuration, and two studio-grade phono preamps.
