IT’S been a good weekend for FERRARI – a one/two in the French Grand Prix saw the team keep Brit favourite Lewis Hamilton at bay.
And recently the legendary car marque has been making in-roads into the gadget world, doing deals to get its logo and classic red colour on everything from laptops to speakers.
But does that make the technology any hotter than Michael Schumacher’s tyres or is such spurious branding really the pits?
Take a look at our top five Ferrari gizmos and decide for yourself.
Art.Engine speakers
They cost 18 grand but shoving the Ferrari logo on is sure to make them more attractive.
Which is useful, as they’re not that nice-looking.
Only 1000 of the tower systems have been made - sold in the UK through Sound Directions - and at 47inch tall, they are available in all the official Ferrari colours including Rosso Corsa and Nero.
It’d be more fun to give them an engine noise setting to annoy the neighbours!

CAN you believe these speakers cost a whopping $100,000 per pair?
The new YG Acoustics Voyager Loudspeakers are meant for professional studio use only.
The company behind them think they are so elite, they are only doing demos by personal invitation.
The firm says: "Due to the multitude of trade secrets and next-generation
technologies employed in the Voyager, it is available for purchase by music and film industry leaders only".
What a shame, I was just going to nip down to the bank and draw the cash out for a pair.

MUGGLES beware - there's a Harry Potter computer virus spreading out there.
The clever worm is being fuelled by eager fans desperate to find out the ending of JK Rowling's final book, out on July 21.
When it's opened, the file called 'HarryPotter-TheDeathlyHallows.doc' tells fans the boy wizard is dead - and it's being spread by infecting USB memory drives.
Graham Cluley, of Sophos, said: "Using such social engineering at this time is a trick dastardly enough for Lord Voldemort himself."

IT'S no surprise but MySpace is starting to feel the heat from Bebo and Facebook in the UK.
New figures on social networking in Britain show the Rupert Murdoch-owned site under pressure to attract new audiences and to hold onto its market-leading share.
Research firm Nielsen/NetRatings say May saw a drop in UK traffic to MySpace with Bebo and Facebook both posting rises.
In fact, Facebook has grown by more than 500% in the last six months and it's now more popular in Britain than in the US, where it first started in colleges and universities.

IF your Mandarin is up to scratch then you might fancy a crack at HiPiHi.
No, it's not the Chinese version of the holiday camp-based BBC 80s sitcom but a souped-up version of Second Life for Chinese-speaking avatars.

So, Apple's "must-have" mobile phone has now finally launched. Well, I say launch. That's obviously true if you're reading this from America, but for the rest of us it's tough luck. After all, it's not as if anyone in Britain has ever put their hard-earned cash into Steve Jobs' coffers.
But I'm thankful for that, thankful that those Apple sheep in the US are getting their hands on it first. Hopefully by the time it hits Britain it'll either have had most of its bugs fixed, or disappeared off the techno-radar for good and put down as a virtual nightmare.

HE'S the undisputed Queen of the celebrity bloggers but Perez Hilton is the first to admit he's a total technophobe.
In fact, he's only getting the internet in his flat next month when he moves - nearly THREE years after starting showbiz bible perezhilton.com.
But despite not being any good with gadgets, Perez told Tech Digest there is one gizmo he can't wait to get his hands on.
He said: "I really want an iPhone. They just look so cool."
