The creators of South Park are now offering every episode in the catalogue, free and uncensored, from their recently revamped website, South Park Studios.
The site now also offers a library of 3,000 episode clips and previews.
Superimpose your face onto Jack Bauer's, when Oddcast gets its act together and launches
TechCrunch remains one of my favourite blogs, for bringing brilliant new web 2.0 start-ups to my attention, like Oddcast’s 3D Videostar service.
It hasn’t launched yet, but it allows you to superimpose your face (or anyone’s face, really…) over an actor’s face in movie clips. Thus, your desire to be John McClane in Die Hard is fulfilled.

Fancy downloading Spaced, Peep Show and Skins on iTunes? Channel 4 TV shows now available
A huge boost to both Channel 4 and iTunes has been announced today, with the teenager-friendly UK TV network now offering its premiere shows on the UK iTunes.
Classics such as Spaced, Teachers, Peep Show, Black Books, Shameless, Monarchy and newbie Skins will be available for download, at £1.89 per episode, a far cry from the $1.99 the US market pays.
An obvious ploy for recruiting youngsters to download their favourite comedy shows by legal means, the episodes will be perfectly formatted for viewing on iPods. Whether you want Spaced’s Marsha “just popping down to Threshers to do the weekly shop” Klein perfectly formatted is another question entirely…
Trent Reznor expands on his internet prowess, calls upon UGC for Ghosts music videos
Not a week after releasing his album Ghosts I-IV for free download, Trent Reznor is at it again, giving fans the opportunity to create music videos for the album’s 36 songs.
Via a video on YouTube, Reznor has asked his fans to create videos for the instrumental songs, which will be uploaded to YouTube, and featured in a take-over similar to last week’s Sigur Ros day. Reznor explained “to expand the idea of the “Ghosts” project, we’re inviting anyone and everyone to create visuals to accompany the album’s music. Notice your YouTube streams are finally a higher quality? It's official…
It snuck onto the site very quietly last week, but finally, we’re able to watch YouTube videos in a higher quality than those awful disjointed clips we’ve grown accustomed to.
Posted on the YouTube blog last week, they said this of the move – “You may have noticed that we’re now giving you the option of watching some YouTube videos in higher quality. We’re making these streams available on certain videos, based upon the source file uploaded to us, and over time you’ll find a greater percentage of the library is available to view in higher quality. This feature applies to all eligible videos uploaded from the YouTube community, and is not restricted to partner content, so everyone can enjoy this upgrade.”

BBC puts an end to iPlayer download hack. Back to file sharing sites for you
The BBC has said that it has fixed its iPlayer software to stop people exploiting the code that allowed users to watch TV shows on their iPhone or iPod Touch.
It turns out that, while PC users can only download and keep a programme for 30 days, or stream it from the web for up to seven days after broadcast, hackers had discovered that iPlayer simply streamed a MP4 file to iPhones and iPods. Broadband pipes may hold back Kangaroo TV platform, says analyst
We wrote yesterday about the announcement that UK broadcasters the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 are setting up a joint on-demand video service codenamed ‘Kangaroo’. It’ll offer over 10,000 hours of new and archive shows, for streaming, renting or downloading.
