Philips has extended its headphone range with new wireless Flite models (pictured above) and a line up of BASS+ headphones for those who like to accentuate lower frequency sound.

The Flite family – Everlite, Ultrlite, and Hyprlite – are constructed with ultra-light materials and designed to follow the natural contours of the head and ears for long-lasting comfort.

Everlite are billed as the eye catching over-ears headphones of the Flite family. Featuring 32mm drivers, the lightweight headband and soft ergonomic cushions are supposed to create excellent sound isolation to remove ambient noise, claims the manufacturer.

You can fold them away between playlists and they have special tangle-free cables. Everlite allows you to take calls, chat with its integrated mic, or play and pause your music. With 13 hours of playtime, the Everlite Bluetooth holds enough power to keep your music going all day.

When you need a quick burst of power, Fast Charge technology ensures that just five minutes of charging time gets you one hour of playback.

Everlite and Everlite Bluetooth are available in white with rose gold and dark chrome with the Everlite Bluetooth (SHB4805) with mic costing €79.99 and the Everlite (SHL4805) without Bluetooth costing €39.99

Ultrlite are the on-ears of the Flite family and are available in both black and white. The Ultrlite (SHB4405) with Bluetooth is expected to retail for €49.99 while the model without Bluetooth (SHL4405) is €19.99.

In addition, Philips offers the Hyprlite earbuds. Featuring 12.2mm powerful drivers, the Hyprlite Bluetooth keeps your music flowing with 7 hours of playtime, and the neckband vibrates when calls come in, so you’ll never miss a call.

Available in white with rose gold and dark chrome, the price of the Hyprlite (SHB4205) with mic is expected to be around €59.99.

Says Michael Davies, Headphones Business Line Leader at Gibson Innovations:

“For Flite we wanted to bring together the impossible: ultra light and great sound. Flite  headphones truly give a ‘barely there’ feeling while the sound is surprisingly loud. They are designed for a young, carefree audience, who were born to defy gravity.”

Meanwhile Philips has also introduced its BASS+ headphones range at IFA17.

This includes the BASS+ True Wireless in-ear Bluetooth headphones with earbud design (pictured) with C-fit stability fin to ensure they stay securely in your ears.
